It didn't print:
 "Recording will not commence until a PMT is set."

That might be useful in debugging the problem.

That sounds very different from #3031 as well.

Do the same channels always fail/work? Does the recording fail
repeatably with any particular programme and not with others?
Have you tried removing all the channels from the lineup and
rescanning within MythTV, did this have any effect?

Also full "mythbackend -v record,channel,siparser" logs of
one failed and one successful tune to the same channel, and
if possible same programme, would be needed for me to help.
Just create a new ticket with as good a description as you
can; answering the questions would be a good start. Janne
or Stuart A. may actually have a better idea of what is going
on, but I'll take a look.

Oh, and a log of the channel scan with the same options as
the backend logs might be useful.
