Well it would indeed be cool with a more userfriendly and nice looking GUI 
for MythTV.
Especially i like the idea to be able to minimize a plugin. So you can start 
playing music, then minimize it while it still are playing, and then start 
another plugin, like showing pictures or archiving shows or whatever you 
feel like.
I know there is some work on beeing able to show pictures while playing 
music, but beeing able to minimize plugins you could do whatever work you 
would like, not only showing pictures.
But i dont see this happening since i'm not a developer, and making this 
possible would probably require a pretty big rewrite of mythtv and how the 
plugins are being started and such.

Even though it is always nice to be able to show your friends how cool 
mythtv is, now you have to explain how cool mythtv is under the GUI, like 
commercial skipping.

If i ever found a genie lamp, one of my whishes would be to be a good 
programmer. There is so much cool things i would like to add to mythtv. For 
now i can only sit quiet and hope that a developer thinks of the same thing 
and add it to mythtv.
