[mythtv] frontend/backend connection

I've put this out on the users list, but not gotten much of a response.
I'm hopeful maybe a solution can be found on this list.
I'm having issues with my frontend connecting to my backend on the same
system. The backend will be up and running, with the database populated
(i've double checked this manually in the mythconverg->settings table),
and when I start the frontend and go to watch LiveTV, I get an error
message saying it can't connect to the backend. This happens with
127.0.0.1 and with my local IP.
I'm running Myth 0.20(20060828-3, installed via YUM from ATrpms) and
Fedora Core 5 (2.6.17-1.2187_FC5). No firewall is running on the box.
here's the relevant debug output (mythfrontend -v socket) from the
frontend as I try to Watch Live TV and get the error message that it
can't connect to the backend (running on the same box).

You probably should modify the Master Server
settings in the setup program and set the
proper IP address.
