I'd like to jump in here with another v4l problem - please point me to a 
better place if it's not appropriate.

I have had mythtv working for some time with a Medion saa7134 card, 
using v4lctl to unmute it (when available - xawtv/v4lctl wasn't in FC5 
release.)  The system is FC5, fully updated from the ATrpms repo.

Now I have a Freecom DVB-T installed and working well, although it does 
have problems  - ie Tickets #1970 (PID filters) and #2468 (subtitle loss 
in transcode - probably not device related)

But since I installed DVB I haven't been able to get anything out of the 
saa7134 device within MythTV.  It works as before in TVtime and xawtv. 
In MythTV attempts to watch the analog channels fail with this output 
from the backend:

I have tried to set up a channel to use the saa7134 Composite input, 
too, hoping to use it for VHS transfer, but that hasn't worked yet.
