[mythtv] Playing an avi or mpeg file inside MythTV

Hi everyone,

If I have this code

myth_system("mplay /home/neil/DVVV.AVI");


What should I do to exit the program gracefully.. I like to have a start, 
stop button , implemented in MythTV..  Is it not possible to embeed the 
video in MythTV container..
