[mythtv] [mythtv-commits] Ticket #2655: New duplicate checkmethod

Haven't come across shows with the same subtitle, but different
descriptions, but I guess that most of those cases are where there was a
':' in the actual real title of the show, and it got split up. Those cases
are an anomoly really, and there's no way of working out what they are -
certainly not with an SQL query ;) Like you say - they're just one to watch
out for really - and set them to "Subtitle and description" or just
"description"

Thanks for the feedback.

Martin

Well I figure I'm in the same country as you, but I am using it and very
happy with it too. Hopefully it will be applied when someone gets time.

One thing to note is that there are some shows which have the same
subtitle with every episode but different descriptions. This is probably
because of the way EIT tries to make a subtitle out of the title. I
still like having subtitle then description as default, but it would
mean you might miss shows if you're not careful.

Cheers,

Martin.
