Ooops. Too late... it's installed. (..and cron backs up sql [and tons
of other stuff] nightly..)
Initial impressions: Seems like it's more efficient when using the same
options I had for .19-fixes, and no changes to xorg.conf,
.nvidia-settings, etc. At least it doesn't stutter at all (so far) when
I'm playing 1080i to a 720p display (via DVI, bob deint, XvMC) and
compiling something big and ugly (ie: kde) with 'make -j 2' as well.
It might take a couple days for the problem to crop back up... I'll keep
an eye on it. (er.. the wife will...) and post here (and on ticket
1871) if it occurs again... or if it doesn't in the next week.
In the meantime, I need to re-apply my homegrown patches to mythmusic
before my wife realizes that her 'slideshow' visualization is gone. :)
