I was basing my version on how most VCR's operate. Though, TBH, the
best one I came across went:

-32x, -16x, -8x, -4x, -2x, -1x, -0.5x, -0.25x, Paused, 0.25x, 0.5x,
1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x.

So it covered playback and slow-motion as well as fast-forward and rewind.
