This would certainly be a help for me.  When I scan I get a mixture of
multiplexes from two transmitters: Black Hill and Craigkelly.  I'm on a
shared aerial system that was originally installed to receive analogue
TV and points at Black Hill.  Some of the DTV multiplexes from Black
Hill are on frequencies that are outside the bandwidth of the aerial but
fortunately I can fill in by using multiplexes from Craigkelly off a
side lobe of the aerial.  At present whenever I scan I get duplicate
entries in the channel table and have to remove them manually in mysql.

I've considered looking into this myself and producing a patch but
haven't managed to get round to it yet.
