It also adds unnecessary pids. (IMHO)

It gets the PAT, and then adds the pid for every program listed in the
PAT, which I don't think is required?

For DVB we need the program number (which we get from the PAT) and the
channel mappings which we get from the SDT.

We only need the PMT when we actually want to watch it.


I'll see if I've an older scan log file somewhere for comparison.
