This could be cool. Most stations in Czech delay the nightly programs by
an unacceptable time. Example: at 8pm the program starts at 8:04
(8:00-8:04 just ads). However, if a program is to start at 11pm it
actually starts at 11:10, and if there is something at 2a.m. it easily
starts at 2:16 (just made up examples). I think this is because they
include more ads than they originally planned, or they are just plain
dumb at summing up the necessary time for programs + ads. Anyway, there
is no easy post-record option (adding +20 minutes to each recording to
be on safe side seems a bit silly).
The problem I am having with this is that I never see the happyend of
anything. I always miss the last few seconds or minutes :-) Such an
automatic detection of the actual end of a program would fix this
problem.
