[mythtv] Internal DVD player kills my computer

When i try to play Shrek with the internal DVD player the whole computer 
locks up.
The DVD menu works and i select to play the movie, and after about 4-5 
seconds the
picture freezes. Keyboard dont respond, the same with the remote control.
Cant even connect through ssh, the computer refuses to do anything. Only 
solution
is the reset button.

Xine and mplayer works fine. No problem in playing Shrek.
But i really would like to use the internal player. Like to have the same 
interface for
everything in Myth.

But since the computer just freezes, i cant watch any log to try to find out 
the problem.
Not that i can fix it myself, but maybe could give someone any direction to 
what to fix.

How can i find out what the problem is?
