I've got a 4000-something X2 and I see some stutters, but only on  
certain shows/channels.  So either those channels are pushing too  
high of a bitrate for my system, or there's something about those  
streams that I'm just not handling right.  For instance : 2 and a  
half men runs flawless, while Conan always stutters.  For reference,  
I'm scaling my output to 1365x768, the native resolution of my  
plasma, with Kernel Deint.  No XVMC, but I do use opengl sync.   
libmpeg helps some channels, while hurting others.  I've just not  
found settings that work for everything.
