[mythtv] Delete all capture cards doesn't remove cardid

Having a bit of a weird problem. As of todays tranche of commits I am  
unable to watch live tv.
The backend on starting complains of
2006-07-18 20:10:27.296 TVRec(12) Error: Start channel invalid,  
setting to '3' on input DVBInput instead.

failed,

When I try to watch live tv I get this error on the backend

In a very fast repetitive pattern.

I have deleted all the cards and the sources and readded but to no  
avail.

Any ideas?
