Sorry Daniel, didnt realise you had added debug, and you were looking
for the after log, not the before :-)
I have added the log for a failure against svn8759.
Found out somthing interesting useful. The failures are not random, they
are against specific channels. On my Uk DVB-T card I have:
*BBC1,*BBC2,*ITV,Channel4,Channel5,*ITV2,*ITV3,Cbeebies,*CBBC
All of the * channels fail to show in myth front end, with the now
dreaded "Error was encountered when displaying Video". This may change
with the content/aspect ratio, but I have not seen that yet.
If I try to access LiveTV, my DVB-T card is the first card, and so it
tries to watch the last viewed channel. If that is one of the *
channels, I get the dreaded message. If I then change to another card
(dvb-s) I get back into LiveTv on that card. By selecting one of the
working DVB-T channels by the numerical keypad, I can then get onto the
DVB-T card channel range succesfully, and surf betweent those channels.
It is only on a LiveTV transittion, or move from card to card that
accessing the * channels fails.
Hope that is clear, I have as I said appended the log to the Ticket. It
shows the log from mythfronntend startup straight into LivetV on a *
channel, failure to display, then switch to DVB-S working channel, back
to Channel4 and a working display.
Hope this is enough for you to diagnose the problem, happy to help with
anything else.
