Err.  I requested more info with the 'worksforme' status of the ticket.  Read 
the last paragraph of the Ticket Howto page, linked to at the top of every 
'New ticket' page.

7.0, whatever the current ubuntu/dapper is.  Deinterlacing generally has 
absolutely nothing to do with the version of X you have; In the software 
decoded case, as in this ticket, it's a _completely_ application side 
operation.
