Just letting you know that the fixes branche worked perfectly :)

I did notice a number of warning messages along the lines of 

Couldn't allocate warped audio buffer!
Couldn't allocate warped audio buffer!
2006-01-21 20:22:53.335 Video timing method: USleep with busy wait

But there were no visible (or audible) problems.
