I've been having some problems with my firewire lately. Last night I
upgraded to the latest Ubuntu, and since then firewire isn't working at
all. I can pull a stream using test-mpeg2 from the libiec61883 library,
but I can't get MythTV to do anything. Previously, the firewire worked
most of the time, and would only cut out after a couple weeks of usage
(which a reboot fixed).
There are two things I see happening:
#1:
2006-01-04 22:56:10.104 FireWireChannel: allocated raw1394 handle for port 0

I'm not sure what to do next. Can anybody offer suggestions to help me
diagnose the problem?
I've got Ubuntu Breezy installed, I'm running a custom install of MythTV
CVS (as of this evening) running against a custom install of libraw1394
(v1.2.0), libavc1394 (v0.5.1), and libiec61883 (v1.0.0) with a Motorola
DCT6200 tuner. plugreport reports the following:
