Many thanks for this - I've been running with a frig that adds dummy 
frames to playback - if anyone feels worried enough about the 'larger' 
file sizes to try the same thing - David's approach is much better because 
adding it to playback makes ff/rewind etc a nightmare to implement.

As additional info, the UK DVB streams have as many radio channels as tv - 
with radio epg's seeming to be around 7-9 days at tyhe moment this is a 
really useful rounding out of myth functionality for the UK. (Also means I 
can retire another box from the stack!)
