[mythtv] NetworkControl enhancements

I would like to get GNU Readline or something similar working with the
network control but I'm not quite sure how to use it over a socket.  I
have hacked in support for the history lib from readline though and
would appreciate feedback, I'm sure it's quite ugly and can be cleaned
up some.  I guess this would introduce a new dependency, but readline is
pretty standard, isn't it?
