Good news -- Pirates of the Caribbean now plays.

Bad news - it is not watchable because the video flickers every 5-10
seconds.  I get the impression that it is re-showing the last "key
frame" for a split second.  Very distracting.  This probably does not
having anything to do with your menu support, but does keep me using
Xine for DVD playback -- which is too bad.
