some people don't have their stereo where their TV is, so doing this
would cause the tv sound to come from a different room!

I'm a fan of the way Stuart implemented things in his patch, it gives
flexibility for those that need it, but by defaulting to the same
setup as tv output won't affect those with a more mainstream setup.
