Hi,
I have been using MythTv CVS 2005-06-04 on a Via M10K system based
on Fedora Core 3 with few problems. I have decided to upgrade to
Fedora Core 5 with the latest MythTv and although it works the
playback stutters and occasionally stops for more than 10secs before
continuing. I have tried the MythTv RPMS from ATRPMS and also tried the
MythTV SVN 2006-08-14 version.
I notice that although XvMC-VLD is being used, the CPU usage is over 80%
(it was about 20% with MythTv CVS 2005-06-04). Xine seems to run fine on
the system using just over 20% CPU.
Using the program "mythtv" to test the display I get the output:
2006-08-16 07:05:50.294 VideoOutputXv: Frame h is in use by avlib and so
is being held for later discarding.

Are there any known issues with XvMC-VLD decoding at the moment ?
Cheers
Terry
