I will look if this message also occurs during the next successful
transcode with another show.

Maybe this error also happens for you, if I give you the first x MB of
that recording and you try to transcode it from mythbackend?

Funny is, that the transcode error happens only with this DVB recording
so far (I use DVB only since 10 days, before I used analog and had no
errors).
The only thing different in this recording from the other DVB
recordings, that worked so far, is that it has 2 audio tracks. And
tcprobe isn't too happy with it either, it sees no audio track:
[tcprobe] MPEG transport stream (TS)
(ts_reader.c) Pids: 0x0 0x1700 0xff 0x20 0x100 0x101
[tcprobe] summary for 3649_20060801220000.mpg, (*) = not default, 0 =
not detected
no audio track: use "null" import module for audio
After manual mythtranscode, tcprobe still sees only 1 audio track, but
mplayer sees both:
[tcprobe] MPEG program stream (PS)
[tcprobe] summary for /work2/video/test.mpg, (*) = not default, 0 = not
detected
import frame size: -g 720x576 [720x576]
aspect ratio: 4:3 (*)
frame rate: -f 25.000 [25.000] frc=3
PTS=0.3105, frame_time=40 ms, bitrate=15000 kbps
audio track: -a 0 [0] -e 48000,16,2 [48000,16,2] -n 0x2000 [0x2000]
PTS=0.3200, bitrate=448 kbps
-D 0 --av_fine_ms -9 (frames & ms) [0] [0]
