i have currently totaly replaced the mythmusic part in mythweb, but i will
add the old stuff again, and make it selectable wich one to use when the new
one works quiet well.
but for the moment it's only a demonstration. but it loads the whole
musicdatabase on my client (30000 songs) a lot faster with the new db
layout. playlist currently don't work but you can add songs and listen to
music... i finish the mythplugin within the next week. the i look that on
the mp3act side all is working well and after that i will add the old
mythmusic stuff into mythweb again and maybe tune this a little bit.

and after all, i hope that then it get's included to main mythtv.

From the previous messages/threads I can give you a rough idea.

Integration of mp3act (a Ajax web interface to music) into MythWeb (to
replace MythMusic, but not totally - see below)

Database schema changes to closer resemble that of mp3act.

Updates to MythMusic for said schema changes.

Unfortunatly, although probably very good, Chris has already said that
he wont accept a purely AJAX MythWebMusic replacement. I think Joggl has
allowed for this in keeping MythWebMusic there and offering the mp3act
as an option, but I can't say for sure.

I think that's roughly right.

Col.
