It's caught some stuff that went late and wasn't scheduled to. Also helps
when my clock's slightly off. =)

Doesn't really matter to me. With very few exceptions, all my recordings are
anytime channel-based - I rarely care to look at when it actually recorded.

I think it makes sense to, if it doesn't cause a conflict. The original
pre/post-roll stuff was written when there was only support for one tuner,
remember.
I don't really see how 'record this much extra if you can without creating
conflicts, and use other tuners if possible' is any less deterministic than
the current behavior, really.
