Actually, that was on purpose.

Personally, I want the episode for a specific show sorted in ascending
order (by original air date), but I want the episodes listed under
"All Programs" to have the newest episodes first.

If you really want the episodes listed in reverse-original-air-date
order, I would make that a separate option.  In other words, have
"Original Air Date (ascending)" and "Original Air Date (descending)"
options.
