Shoutcast support is cool. Are you planning to add ripping of streams as
well :) ?

Nick Parkinson and I have done some work on rewriting the mythmusic tree
code.
Our new "theme" has two trees on the mythmusic screen (one below the other):

1 for the active playlist and 1 for all_music (without playlists). Selecting
an item from all_music adds it to the active_playlist, and selecting an item
from active_playlist plays/pauses the track.
It would be cool if we made the design flexible enough to allow this design
and the current design (including the "splitartist artist album" view)
to coexist.

I would also like to customize the tree structure(s) using theme files
alone.
Is this a desirable direction for the gui? I understand that the upcoming
switch
to libmythui for the widgets will impact this somewhat.
