Might this be related to the same problem several of us have seen for the last 
few weeks? In the UK the aspect ratio changes all the time on the same 
channel - adverts shown in 16:9 and the program shown in 4:3 or vice-versa. 
However lately myth has not been adjusting to changes - instead sticking the 
ratio in use when the recording/Live-TV started.
