Okay, ignore the bit about it getting stuck looking for a PMT.
It goes no further than that, but still continues to walk channels.

>From looking at EITScanner::StartActiveScan I can't see anywhere
that the signals & slots are connected to propagate the EIT data
as they are in StartPassiveScan. Is this why we aren't getting any
EIT data from active scans???
