There's a new version of ttsubgrab available on
http://www.duinkerken.nu/ttsubgrab

It features the following improvements:
1) handling of big files (> 2 gig)
2) more input and output options

With this release, it is possible to retrieve subtitles from a mpeg file
which was already recorded. This mpeg file does have to have teletext-VBI
embedded, of course ;-)

It still has a lot of rough edges, but the last option gives you the
opportunity to handle your recordings with MythTV, and still be able to
capture the teletext subtitles afterwards.

It hasn't been tested with ivtv 0.4. Testresults would be appreciated!
