[mythtv] transcoding simply to cut commercials?

I don't know of any of the coding pitfalls, but I know that one reason
this has been somewhat dismissed before is because of the "legal"
issues involved.

Another pitfall is the time involved in re-encoding, and the loss of
quality from re-encoding something again.  If GOB chopping was avail.
this would save time and the original quality.

If you get this working, I know of a TON of people that would want
this!!!  Please let me know when/if you do!
