Not exactly, there are still too many bugs in the 7x.xx drivers.
Once that situation settles down I'm sure we will support it as well
as any closed source driver can be supported.

Nope, I don't think there are any plans to support XvMC in the nv driver.
nVidia doesn't exactly like to share information on how to use their
hardware.

I'd prefer the nv driver too, it is a whole lot more stable. But I'm
not planing to add XvMC support to it unless someone wants to pay me
to do it.
