[mythtv] Submitting Patch Question?

Hi All,

I was doing a quick fix to show the logs in mythweb, and was
practicing a bit on how to generate the diff file, but I can't find a
clear example of how to submit a diff file that has new files in it. 
I've created a couple (simple) pages to hold the log info, but I have
no idea how to submit them...

I'm assuming the cvs add won't work since the repository is read only,
but there must be a way for me to add any new files in the subtree,
no?
