I found another bug since the ffmpeg update due to a minor functioanlity
change on how seek works.
the call to av_seek_frame should set AVSEEK_BACKWARDS to find the previous,
not next keyframe.
thus patch 8 is required. otherwise its the same as 7.
backwards seek by 5 secs now works ok for avi files again.
