If this is the "IRQ blah blah nobody cared" message, I found that all
I had to do was enable the LPT port and all my problems went away.  I
think the kernel thinks you have a printer and tries to send and
interrupt (don't know what triggers it).  When it can't, the system
freaks and starts dumping messages.
