Mainly for rolling back, but I can imagine that
some DVB countries may not work yet with the new code.
The dtv_multiplex table could be populated by a script
that scans the "unused" dvb_channel/pids/sat tables?

Agreed, but as long as it is targetted for removal
some time in the future, the impact is minimal?
