just to point out that if it doesn't change stuff (at least
the channum and freqid) the only way to find out that you
have the incorrect channel info (if the provider swaps
channels around like cox did in phoenix) is when your
recording thinks it recorded UPN but in fact recorded
TNT. which, when you discover it 3 days later leads to many
torrents being downloaded....
