At the moment, I added a "Global slideshow" (randomly display all images)
feature to mythgallery. This gets called when idle time exceeds a preset
limit, and the screensaver has not been disabled (within mythtv). Some
time ago, I wrote in some hooks to run modules from xscreensaver (or any
program that can take over a window and display something), but I never
used it much. Later I ended up writing a module to play a slideshow.. So,
I dumped that and went to simply using mythgallery for this. (Why do it
twice?)
