[mythtv] How to extract playlist data?

Good afternoon, I'm working on a search feature for mythmusic and have
a question. How would I extract a searched for string from the
currently active playlist(s)? I'm not seeing anything in the code that
allows for this but I'm not an "expert" coder either :D. Just pointing
out some sample code that's already there would work too. Thanks in
advance!
