Had some spare time, I tried to test this patch on my config:
Asus K8N-E_Deluxe/PVR350|Gentoo64 (AMD64)

I enabled "pvr350 decoding through TV-Out" in Myth settings, and tested 
output on my TV.
And indeed I was able to reproduce the bug depicted. Mythfrontend 
crashes as soon as you start playback (either stored recording or LiveTV).

With the correction applied no crash is encountered. Nice job

So this patch seems mandarory for AMD64 using TV-Out. Good for cvs?

PS: I did a 'make distclean' in both cases.
