Now it's 19.19 seconds for 3068 rows to be returned using innodb.
before it was 15 seconds for ~2000 rows with innodb, or 22 seconds for 
the same with MyISAM.

So yes it is faster now if you normalize by speed per result row, but it 
wasn't quite a miracle.
