Thanks, I've committed this with one change: your settings.pro patch 
mentioned TARGET_ARCH_PPC, which is never set (the configure uses 
TARGET_ARCH_POWERPC instead). So, you weren't getting any custom 
optimization flags. Please do a clean build with the new CVS to make 
sure it's working properly for LinuxPPC.
