[mythtv] MacOS X build setup?

Hi,

I'm trying to port more of MythTV to MacOS X.  I've done plenty of
Linux development, but no Mac development since OS9.  Instructions I
can find for setting up the build for Linux are at best intricate, and
how to translate those to MacOS X is not obvious me.  I was hoping
someone could point me the way, just to get me started.
