I'm guessing your mail to the list won't make it there, at least not for a 
while. Isaac is a bit slow on the moderation... (at least, I don't see it 
right now...). But I got it (obviously).

I saw Jakub's notice gcc 4.1 was coming to -devel. Hrm, my workstation doesn't 
want to bump to 4.1 cleanly at the moment (all sorts of spew about 
libgcj.so.6 being needed by java stuff), but I'll dig into it a bit later 
today and see if I can't get one box or another bumped to 4.1.

Also, for clarification, are there other complications, like x86_64, or is 
this straight 32-bit? Also give the current svn branch a try (I'll do the
