I need your "-v channel" log from when mythbackend first starts up.

It will print something like:
  DVB#1 Device Name: 'pcHDTV HD3000 HDTV'
Then tell me which DVB device is causing problems (0, 1, 2, etc.)

And then I will be able to fix one of your problems,
the "PMT fails CRC check" problem.
