With latest CVS, configure auto detects everything using /proc/cpuinfo fine, but if you configure with --arch-c3-2, the ARCH_X86 is not set in config.h and things consequently mis-compile. One way to fix this is to add c3 and c3-2 to the list of x86_mmx_cpus, which seems to work. Ian
