[mythtv] Firewire Stream

I just built yesterday's cvs, i'm trying to watch tv over firewire but all i 
get is a black screen and a lot of spinny hard drive.
I can use 6200ch to change channels from a prompt and i was able to yank 
video off using test-mpeg2.
any clue?
