sorry, I haven't got that far yet to run the gcc-4 compiled binary
yet. Would probably need a reinstall of most libraries in question
(all that are linked to libstdc++, so at least everything above qt).

At least the patch does not break the gcc-3 compilation and neither
the resulting binary...
