[mythtv] Capturing raw audio and video frames??

Hi,

Are there any suggestions for the best way to capture raw audio and video
frames during recording?

I'm running last week's CVS mythtv version--using a pvr-350 and audigy2 zs
on fc1, and capturing from the s-video connect to a Dish Network receiver.

I need to get access to the raw video frames and audio during recording for
some real-time analysis on the video/audio feed being recorded.

- Can I get this directly from the capture card? (i.e. IVTV drivers?)
- Where in the mythbackend code could I get access to this in real-time?
